manuals in CD-Rom format.
Through our commitment,
experience, and expertise Detroit Iron Information Systems has
established a business relationship with our customers that will
last a lifetime!
The idea for an electronic
database for antique and classic cars and trucks was born in the
spring of 1998. The original pioneers for this project
were David Noel and myself. We saw a need to preserve fast
disappearing information on the older vehicles. Our goal is to
provide a package of information, valued on some CD's at $200.00 to
$300.00 in books, at a reasonable price of $54.95 retail for 1979
and older vehicles and $54.95 for 1980 and newer vehicles.
We recognized the lifeblood of this industry is the younger
people coming into it, who grew up with computers and were seeking
an electronic format. At first the idea
was just 1972 and older Muscle Cars on General Motors, Ford and
Chrysler products. Then as requests came in, the coverage was
expanded to all cars and trucks. We have since enlarged our coverage
to 1979 for Ford and Chrysler cars and
trucks. Our goal is not to replace the need
for books but to provide a format which will allow these assets to
be preserved. By having all the required Factory Original paper
books on CD you not only save time, you also save money.
If you are lucky enough to have all the paper books why take a
chance! With Detroit Iron Information Systems CD manuals, your
fragile paper books can be kept in pristine
condition.
